A friend of mine recommended these socks to me. Based on what she told me I had pretty high expectations but they were definitely exceeded. I had previously been getting pretty severe blisters (as well as fungal toenail infections) from running with plain cotton socks but they are quickly healing even though I haven’t reduced my weekly average running distance. I’ve been living in the US for the past 12 months but I love these socks so much I just bought four more pairs, three for me and one for my wife. I was looking forward to receiving my Lightfeet socks, as I like to buy an Australian product if possible. Before purchasing I checked which style was best for running. The socks were advertised as being marked as either left or right foot – I couldn’t find this marking. Also, because they are a low ankle design they tend to slip into the shoe in the heel area. In the past I’ve purchased another brand that has a tab at the heel which prevents this happening. On the plus side I found the material used to be nice and soft. Because of the problem with the sock slipping into the shoe I wouldn’t purchase again.
